Accused Arrested for Statutory Rape
Police arrested 20-year-old Mukesh Paswan of Jirabhawani Municipality-5, Parsa on 5 June for the charge of raping a 15-year-old minor.
It is reported that the accused was arrested on the same day after the aggrieved party filed a complaint alleging that the accused had raped the victim on 4 June.
A case was registered against the accused on June 6 under the charge of rape and investigation has been moved forward with the approval of District Court to keep him in custody.
The health examination of the victim was done on June 5 at Gorkha Hospital.
