Accused Arrested for Statutory Rape
Police arrested a 47-year-old man of Chandrakot Rural Municipality-8 on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl on 16 July .
A complaint was filed at the District Police office on 16 July alleging that the accused had raped the victim on 15 July . DSP Shankar Pokhel of District Police Office informed INSEC that based on the complaint filed the accused has been arrested and further investigation is going on .
The health examination of the victim was done on 16 July at Gulmi Hospital, Tamghas.
