Accused Arrested for Shooting Medicine Dealer
Area Police Office, Mirchaiya have arrested Suryadev Safi, 42, Rohit Safi, 23, of Mirchaiya Municipality-6 and Mohammad Hakim Fakir, 45, of Golbazar Municipality-11 on the charge of shooting Ram Sagar Safi, 40, of Mirchaiya Municipality-5.
Ram Sagar Safi, 40, of Mirchaiya Municipality-5 was shot by an unidentified group on the evening of June 5, 2021.
It is alleged that Safi, the owner of Siddhi Medico in Mirchaiya Bazaar, was shot by a group of unidentified persons during a power cut.
In the investigation, it was found that the victim’s elder brother Suryadev Safi was involved in the incident after which the victim had filed a complaint against him.
According to DSP Shaligram Sharma of District Police Office, Siraha, Safi’s left thigh, and left elbow were injured. The victim was treated at Mangalam Hospital in Mirchaiya.
