Accused Arrested for Sexually Abusing a Minor
Police arrested 29-year-old Somraj Gurung of Butwal Sub-metropolitan City-3, Jyotinagar on 2 September for the charge of sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police office, Butwal on September 2 alleging that the accused had sexually abused the victim on September 1.
DSP Bijayraj Pandit of the Area Police Office, Butwal informed INSEC that based on the complaint filed by the victim, the accused has been arrested and further investigation is underway. The health examination of the victim was done on 1 September at the Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.
