Accused Arrested for Sexual Abuse
District Police Office Siraha arrested 35-year-old Indesh Kumar Yadav of Siraha Municipality-6 on 10 November for the charge of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office Siraha on November 11 alleging that the accused had sexually abused the girl on November 7.
DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan of District Police Office Siraha said that the incident was reported on November 7, 2024. However, DSP Paswan informed that after the incident, the accused was beaten and injured by the aggrieved party, so he was treated under the supervision of the police and after being discharged by the hospital administration, the accused was arrested and the investigation process was carried forward.
The health examination of the victim was done on 11 November at Siraha Provincial Hospital.
