Accused Arrested for Crime of Rape
Police arrested 37-year-old Ashok Kurumbang of Fungling Municipality-4 on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the district police office on October 16, alleging that he had raped the victim girl on October 13. Inspector Bibek Basnet of the District Police Office said that the accused was arrested on October 16 for investigation.
The health examination of the victim girl was done at District Hospital on 17 October.
