Accused Arrested for Rape
Police arrested 29-year-old Meghraj Yogi of Pyuthan Municipality-7 on 16 September for the charge of raping a 19-year-old woman. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the district police office on September 16 alleging that the accused had raped the victim on the same day. Inspector Keshav KC of District Police Office informed INSEC that the accused was arrested based on the same complaint, and further investigation is underway.
The health examination of the victim was done on September 16 at the District Hospital, Bijubar.
