Accused Arrested for Rape
Police arrested 55-year-old Manoj Khadka of Byas Municipality-4, Tanahun, on January 28 on charges of raping a 35-year-old woman. According to DSP Gyan Kumar Mahato of the District Police Office, the accused was arrested for investigation after the victim filed a complaint stating that she was raped on May 23 and is currently 34 weeks pregnant.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Bharatpur Hospital on January 29.
