Accused Arrested for Rape
Police arrested 35-year-old Kumar Tamang of Hasimara, West Bengal, India currently a residing in Mechinagar Municipality-15, Jyamirgadi on 31 December for the crime of raping 18-year-old woman. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Dhulabari on 31 December accusing him of raping the victim on 27 December, 2024.
The health examination of the victim was done on 31 December at the Mechi Hospital, Bhadrapur.
