Accused Arrested for Rape
Police arrested 30-year-old Manbahadur Rai of Sansurigadhi Rural Municipality-9, Dhankuta on 3 November for the charge of raping a 30-year-old woman. The aggrieved party had filed a complaint against the accused on 3 November at the Area Police Office, Duhabi alleging that he had raped the victim on the same day.
Inspector Sagar Timlsina said that the accused was arrested for investigation based on the same complaint.
The health examination of the victim was done on November 3 at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Ghopa.
