Accused Arrested for Killing Wife
Police have arrested Om Bahadur Darji, 43, on October 25 on charge of killing his 45 years old Rima Damai of Malika Rural Municipality-2.
According to DSP Kiran Jung Kunwar of the District Police Office, Myagdi, accused was arrested as per the complaint lodged stating he killed his wife on October 25 over domestic dispute.
The accused was taken under control by the locals and reported to the police. A team led by SI Balram Poudel of Area Police Office Darbang had arrested Om Bahadur after receiving information received by police.
A team led by Inspector Dhruva Prasad Sharma of the District Police Office, Myagdi has brought Om Bahadur to the District Police Office for further investigation.
As per the police after postmortem done at Beni Hospital, the body was handed over to Om Bahadur’s brother Prakash Damai.
