Accused Arrested for Killing Wife
Police arrested 36-year-old Ranjit Chaudhary on 9 June for killing his 21-year-old wife Kamala Chaudhary of Gadhawa Rural Municipality-2 with a cooking pot. Ranjit severely injured the victim on 6 June during a domestic dispute.
A complaint against the accused was filed by the aggrieved party at the Area Police Office in Gadhawa on the same day Kamala passed away on June 9 during treatment at Crimson Hospital, Butwal.
Inspector Kalika Karki of the Area Police Office, Gadhawa, informed INSEC that the accused has been arrested and further investigation is going on.
The post-mortem of the body was conducted on June 9 Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.
