Accused Arrested for Killing Senior Citizen
Police arrested 45-year-old Purna Bahadur Basnet of Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality-2 Devisthan on 20 July for the charge of killing 60-year-old senior citizen Suresh Basnet, of the same Municipality.
The aggrieved party has alleged that Purna Bahadur killed his brother-in-law, Suresh, with a Nepalese machete on July 20 while Suresh was visiting Purna’s house as a guest. The accused was arrested by officers from Nele Police Station for further investigation.
The body has been kept at the District Hospital, Phaplu for post-mortem.
