Accused Arrested for killing His Mother
Police arrested 28-year-old Fursang Lama on November 3 on the charge of killing 69-year-old Maili Lama of Roshi rural municipality-3 Bhanjyanggaon on November 16 by hitting her head with a blunt object (Lohoro).
Fursang Lama, who had come to the village on November 12 to collect the money requested by his girlfriend, allegedly buried his mother’s gold and money behind a neighbor’s toilet after her murder, according to DSP Min Bahadur Ghale of the District Police Office, Dhulikhel.
DSP Ghale said that a trained dog was also used to investigate the incident. District Police Office Kavrepalanchok held a press conference in Dhulikhel on November 5 and informed about the incident. The postmortem of the body was done on November 2 at Dhulikhel Hospital.
