Accused Arrested for Killing Father
Police arrested 45-year-old Ram Lal Shrestha on November 8, 2024, for charges of killing his 74-year-old father, Bal Bahadur Shrestha, by striking him with a sickl on October 26, 2024, in Namobuddha Municipality-7,Pujaritapu, . Locals stated that there was a dispute between the father and son regarding property matters. The post-mortem of the body was conducted at Dhulikhel Hospital on 27 October.
According to DSP Min Bahadur Ghale of the District Police Office, the accused is being held in custody while the investigation into the incident is ongoing. The other two sons of the deceased have performed the last rites.
