Accused Arrested for Killing
The District Police Office arrested 41-year-old Surendra Prasad Kushwaha, a fugitive from the Nepal Army and a resident of Khajuriya Tole, Adarsh Kotwal Rural Municipality-2, on 27 November 2024 on charges of shooting and killing 48-year-old Haribhushan Kushwaha, the Campus Chief of Ramraja Mohan Bikram Shah Campus of the same municipality . He was made public on 28 November.
The father of the deceased filed a complaint at the district police office on June 15, alleging that the accused shot and killed campus chief Kushwaha in Adarshkotwal village-2 Khajuria tol on June 14. SP Mahendra Khadka of District Police Office Bara informed that the accused was arrested from District Morang Biratnagar Metropolitan City-1.
The post-mortem of the body was done on June 15 at Bayoda Hospital in Birgunj.
