Accused Arrested for Involving Minor in Sexual Act
Police arrested 25-year-old Srijana Khanal of Jiri Municipality-9, Dolakha and 26-year-old Ramila Nepali of Belkotgadi Municipality-4, the operators of Swagatam Restaurant and Bar of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-7 on 27 May for the charge of involving a 14-year-old minor in sexual act.
The police deputed from Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau Babarmahal arrested the accused for luring the victim into sexual acts.
The police reported that the aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused on 26 May at Gaushala Police Post. Additionally, a case under human trafficking has been registered against the accused and the investigation is moved forward.
The health examination of the victim was done on 27 May at Thapathali Hospital.
