Accused Arrested for Involving Minor in Sexual Act
Police arrested a 44-year-old man from Naya Bajar on June 18 for the charge of involving a 17-year-old minor in sexual activity. It is reported that the accused is a relative to the victim.
The District Police Range, Kathmandu, reported that a team from the Metropolitan City along with child rights activists rescued the girl upon receiving information that she was being subjected to sexual activity at home by the accused.
A complaint against the accused was filed on June 19 at the Sohrakhutte Police, accusing him under the charge of rape case and for involving the victim in sexual acts.
The health examination of the victim was done on 18 June at the Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital.
