Accused Arrested for Crime of Rape
Police arrested 27-year-old Sunil Khatiwada of Chinsakhugadi Rural Municipality, Kalimati on 31 October for the crime of raping a 21-year-old woman. The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on October 31 alleging that he had raped the victim on October 26. Inspector Bijay Karki of the District Police Office said that the accused was arrested for investigation based on the same complaint.
The health examination of the victim was done on 31 October at the District Hospital.
