Accused Arrested for Crime of Rape
Police arrested a 23-year-old man from Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-3 on October 2 on the charge of raping a 19-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint on 18 september at District Police Office stating that the accused had raped the victim on 30 July .
Inspector Bijay Karki of the District Police Office informed the INSEC district representative that the accused was arrested for investigation based on the complaint. The name and address of the accused have been kept confidential by the police, as it is a case of incest rape.
The health examination of the victim girl was conducted at the district hospital on September 18.
