Accused Arrested for Crime of Rape
The police arrested Janasingh Dhami, the Chief of Sigas Rural Municipality-2 Ganjari Health Post on September 5 for the charge of raping a 31-year-old woman on July 29. Inspector Balram Pandey of the District Police Office, Baitadi said that the accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint filed by the victim on September 5, and further investigation is going on. According to the victim, she was repeatedly raped by the accused under various pretexts.
The health examination of the victim was done on 5 September at the District Primary Health Center, Patan.
