Accused Arrested for Crime of Rape
The police arrested a 29-year-old son on August 30 for the charge of raping a 56-year-old woman.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at Jugar Police Station on August 29, alleging that the accused raped the victim on the night of the same day. Keshav Raj Barakoti, the Information Officer of the District Police Office, informed INSEC that the accused has been arrested and that further investigation is ongoing.
The medical examination of the victim was done on 30 August at Provincial Hospital, Dang.
