Accused Arrested for Crime of Rape
Police arrested 58-year-old Dammar Bahadur Pun of Paribartan Rural Municipality-4, Kafalbot on August 26 for the charge of raping an 18-year-old girl.
The victim filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Ghartigaon on August 27, 2024 alleging that the accused had raped the victim on August 22, 2024. Keshbaraj Barakoti, Information Officer of the District Police Office, informed INSEC that the accused has been arrested and further investigation is being carried out.
The health examination of the victim was done on 27 August at the District Hospital, Reugha.
