Accused Arrested for Crime of Rape
Police arrested 22-year-old Nima Sherpa of Chhathar Rural Municipality-1 on May 9 for the charge of raping a 43-year-old woman.
A complaint against the accused was filed at the District Police Office on 26 November alleging that he had raped the victim on 25 November.
Inspector Tej Prasad Bhattarai of the District Police Office said that the absconding accused was arrested on May 9 from Inaruwa Municipality-4, Sunsari for investigation.
The health examination of the victim was done on 10 November at District Hospital.
