Accused Arrested for Crime of Rape
Police arrested 36-year-old Jagat Rawat, of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-7, on July 20 for the charge of raping a 30-year-old woman with disability.
A complaint regarding the incident was filed at the Area Police Office, Tulsipur on 19 July alleging that the accused had raped the victim on 17 July . SP Ram Bahadur KC of the District Police Office informed INSEC that the accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint and further investigation is going on.
The health examination of the victim was done on 19 July at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur.
