Accused Arrested for Crime of Rape
Police arrested 28-year-old Rohit Tharu of Buddhabhumi Municipality-4, on 7 July for the crime of raping a 25-year-old woman.
The aggrieved party had filed a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Gorusinge on 7 July alleging that he had raped the victim on 16 April. DSP Haribahadur Wali informed INSEC that the accused has been arrested and further investigation is going on.
The health examination of the victim was done on 4 July at Kapilvastu Hospital, Taulihawa.
