Accused Arrested for Crime of Rape
Police arrested 48-year-old Prasad Tamang of Dudhpokhari Rural Municipality-6 Gouda, Lamjung on June 30 for the charge of raping a 19-year-old woman.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on June 30, alleging that the accused had raped the woman on June 27.
Inspector Thaneshwar Chapai of the District Police Office said that they have moved forward with the investigation after extending the date by seven days from the district court on July 1.
The health examination of the victim was done at the District Hospital on June 30.
