Accused Arrested for Beating Wife
Police arrested 30-year-old Bir Bahadur Gurung on June 6 for the charge of beating his 28-year-old wife Puja Gurung of Menchayayem Rural Municipality-4.
The victim filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on June 6, alleging that the accused had beaten her on June 5 during a domestic dispute.
Inspector Tej Prasad Bhattarai of the District Police Office said that the accused was arrested and the investigation is going on.
The victim sustaining head injury is being treated at the District Hospital on June 6.
