Accused Arrested for Beating Teacher
Police arrested 23-year-old Bhuwanraj Joshi and 19-year-old Amit Chaudhary of Shuklaphanta Municipality-7 on the charge of beating Ganesh Singh Dhami, a teacher of Dharma Janata Secondary School in Stationpur, Shuklaphanta Municipality-7 on 1 September.
Inspector Krishna Shrestha of Area Police Office, Jhalari stated that the accused were arrested on September 1 based on the complaint filed by the victim.
School Principal Haridatta Bagh reported that teacher Dhami, who sustained injuries to the eye, back, and stomach from the beating, is receiving treatment at T&C Hospital in Jhalari. He added that the area around the school was in a state of panic after the incident. Principal Bagh stated that local youths suddenly attacked and beat up the teacher after he asked them to leave the school premises to tease the female students.
