Accused Arrested for Beating
Police arrested Mukunda Sapkota, 32, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-3, and Ramesh Sapkota, 31, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-9, on January 22 for allegedly of beating Drona Acharya, 42, Vice-Chairperson of the Hotel Entrepreneurs’ Committee, Tulsipur, and a resident of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-8, with a sharp weapon at his hotel.
Acharya, Operator of the Hotel Dream Water & Lodge in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-3, Ramri, was attacked with a sharp weapon on the night of January 21. He sustained serious head injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at the Medical College, Kohalpur, as informed by DSP Anil Thakuri of the Area Police Office, Tulsipur. The two arrested individuals are in custody, and the investigation is ongoing, according to DSP Thakuri.
