Accused Arrested for Attempted Killing
Police arrested 50-year-old Kamal Pariyar of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-9 on 12 May for attempting to kill 65-year-old Goma Damai of the same place. It is reported that the accused is nephew to the victim by relation.
DSP Lakshmi Bhandari of the District Police Office said that the accused attacked the victim with scissors under the influence of alcohol on May 12. Additionally, the accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint filed by the aggrieved party.
The victim severely injured by the attack is being treated at Churehill Hospital, Hetauda.
