Accused Arrested for Attempted Killing
Police arrested 43-year-old Basanta Sarki on the charge of attempting to kill his 55-year-old sister-in-law Siba Shrestha (Sarki) of Kanepokhari Rural Municipality-4 Bayerban. The locals reported to the Area Police Office, Pathari, alleging that the accused attempted to kill his 55-year-old sister-in-law on November 9, 2024, during a domestic dispute. DSP Ved Prakash Joshi of the District Police Office said that the accused was arrested from his home on November 9 for investigation based on the information received by the police.
The injured is being treated at Nobel Medical Teaching Hospital, Biratnagar Metropolitan City-4.
