Accused Arrested for Attempt to Rape
Police arrested 27-year-old man on October 17 for the charge of attempting to rape his 23-year-old sister. The victim’s mother stated that they filed a complaint at the District Police Office Siraha on 17 October stating that the accused had attempted to rape the victim on 14 October. Inspector Dipak Kumar Singh of the District Police Office, Siraha, stated that they arrested the accused and took action immediately after receiving the incident report.
The health examination of the victim was done at Siraha provincial hospital on 17 October.
