Absconding Accused of Sexually Abusing a Minor Arrested
Police arrested 65-year-old Bhim Bahadur Paudel of Waling Municipality-11, Bhaka, on 4 July. Paudel had been absconding after receiving a verdict for sexually abusing a 9-year-old girl.
The District Court found him guilty for sexually abusing the victim and was sentenced to 6 months and 17 days imprisonment on April 3, 2023.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Indra Bahadur Rana of the District Police Office, Syangja informed that Paudel was arrested from his own house by the police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Waling, Syangja.
