Absconding Accused of Killing Arrested
Police arrested Devendra Choudhary, 56, of Jaleshwar Municipality-6, on 17 November. He had been absconding for nine years on charges of killing ASI Thaman BK of the Armed Police Force, Mahottari, Jaleshwar. Principal Ajaykumar Jha of R.B.M. Campus informed us that the police arrested the accused in civil clothes on campus premises. BK sustained serious injuries during the Madhesh movement on September 11, 2015. Protestors attacked him and killed him by forcibly taking him from the ambulance while being transported to the hospital.
Similarly, the High Court of Dhanusha had issued an order to arrest the accused involved in BK’s killing.
