Absconding rape accused Arrested
Absconded rape culprit 44 years old Punyaprasad Chaulagain of Hetauda Municipality-6, who was ordered 2 years 6 months sentence has been arrested on 16th July, 2019. He was convicted of raping 17 years old girl on June 17, 2011. The complaint was lodged from victim party the same day of incident.
Based on the complaint culprit was arrested on June 19, 2011. District court Makawanpur verdicts him the culprit on March 19, 2013 so did the High Court on July 1, 2014. He was absconded from court during the hearing.
District Police Office’s DSP Yagyaprasad Bhattarai notified that culprit is arrested from Hetauda Municipality-2 Chaukitole and has been taken to Regional Jail, Bhimfedi.
