Kidnapped Boy killed, two kidnappers encountered by police
Two persons who had allegedly abducted an 11 years old boy Nishan Khadka from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32, Town Planningof Kathmandu have been shot dead in a police firing at Doleshwor of Bhaktapur district .
Personnel from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division, who were on the lookout for the alleged kidnappers since Sunday night, shot the two kidnappers dead after a clash with them.
According to the chief of Metropolitan Police Crime Division SSP Dhiraj Pratap Singh, those killed have been identified as Ajaya Tamang and Gopal Tamang.
They had abducted the boy and demanded for the ransom of four million from the victim’s family. The boy was studying at Highlane Scholl in Kadaghari in standard 6.
A pistol, bullets and a mobile phone used to call the child’s parents has been found at the location.
Meanwhile, police say the abduction victim, identified as Nishan Khadka, was murdered by the criminals.
Police had recovered the body at a private household in Thimi of Bhaktapur.
