785 children suffering from malnutrition in Bajura
According to District Health Office of Bajura, there are 785 children suffering from malnutrition.
The survey done within two months have shown the result that there are 485 children suffering from malnutrition out of 4,368 children in the district according to malnutrition coordinator Ashok Kumar Singh of District Health Office.
Those suffering from acute malnutrition are getting treatment in OPD whereas some of the children were sent home after receiving treatment, he said. Children suffering from malnutrition are receiving treatment at Rugin, Gotri, Kolti, Martadi, Tante and Dogadi health posts. Coordinator Singh said that the government is coming forward with different strategy to eradicate the malnutrition in the district.
The District Health Office is committed to eradicate malnutrition with in a year according to Singh. He added that health volunteers will be deployed in the district.
