57 Polling stations very sensitive in Bardiya
The District Administration of Bardiya has categorized 57 polling stations as very sensitive.
Out of 153 polling stations of the district, 57 are tagged as very sensitive in security point of view, 42 are tagged as sensitive and other 54 as normal according to Chief District Officer Narayan Prasad Bhattarai.
The categorization is based on the geographical proximity, border with India and bad road access according to Bhattarai.
According to him, the security of the polling stations will be in three security cordons.
At least 1514 temporary police will be mobilized during the election. In Bardiya, there are constituencies for two parliamentary and four provincial assemblies.
