Court Sentences Five Years for Rape Accused
The District Court of Siraha has ordered to sentence Budhuwa Sada,40 of Lahan Municipality-21 for five years along with Rs 30,000 penalty on July 5 on charge of raping a 39-years-old woman.
A single bench of District Court judge Rajendra Adhikari has given a verdict on a case.
The victim had lodged a complaint at Area Police Office of Lahan on April 28 accusing him of raping her on April 27. She underwent a health check up at District Hospital on April 27.
The absconding accused was arrested by the police on June 9 and was remanded in custody by a court order on June 10.
