12 Years of Imprisonment for Rape
District Court of Darchula has declared 12 years of imprisonment and 50 thousand rupees’ compensation to Dan Singh Dhami, 29, of Naugaad rural municipality- 5 for allegedly raping a 14 years old girl.
In the sitting of Justice Giriraj Gautam, District Court of Darchula took the decision informed Hemanta Bhat, Information officer of Darchula. She was raped by Dhami on 11 August and had filed a complaint at the District Police Office on 15 August. The victim was treated at the District Hospital on 15 December.
