11 Individuals Arrested for Assaulting Police
On November 17, the police arrested individuals on the charge of attacking and injuring police constable Mahendra Shahi, 28 years old, Police Assistant Constable Kishore Rajwar, 29 years old, and Police Constable Birendra Shahi, 25 years old, working at Padmaghat Police Station.
DSP Arjun KC confirmed that the police arrested 11 individuals and placed them in the custody of the District Police Office. This action follows their assault on the police team dispatched to manage a dispute at the residence of Dhanajay Chaulagai in Mahabai Rural Municipality-7 Ramni on the day of Bhai Tika, November 15.
DSP Arjun KC revealed that among the arrested individuals are 22-year-old Prakash Sunar from Mahabai Rural Municipality-7, 18-year-old Rakesh Sunar from the same locality, 24-year-old Hari Kami from ward no. 2, 20-year-old Lokesh Bk, 21-year-old Prakash Kafle, 28-year-old Mohan Bk, 24-year-old Birendra Bk, 24-year-old Agni Prasad Kafle, 21-year-old Bharat Sunar, 18-year-old Nabin Sunar, and 19-year-old Janak Bk.
Sanket BK, Chief Doctor at Kalikot District Hospital, confirmed that the injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment at the District Hospital.
