Accused Arrested for Statutory Rape
Police arrested 50-year-old Chakra Bahadur Bista of Narharinath Rural Municipality-8 on July 3 for the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on 30 June alleging that the accused raped the visually impaired girl in her own home.
DSP Arjun KC informed that the accused has been arrested and further investigation is ongoing.
The health examination of the victim was done at the District hospital on July 3.
