Operator of a Medical Store Uddhav Aryal has been abducted by a group of unidentified people from February 7 from Parwanipur bazaar.

The victim was abducted from his residence at around 11 p.m. on Sunday evening. The victim’s family members informed that armed personnel, who had entered into the medical store on the excuse of buying medicine, took the family members into control before abducting him.

Locals organized chhakajam (vehicular movement halt) in Parwanipur area of Tribhuvan Rajapath for half an hour demanding immediate release of the victim.

Police informed that no-one has claimed the responsibility of the incident so-far. Police further informed that search is on to find the whereabouts of the victim.

Meanwhile issuing a press statement Chairperson of CPN-UML Parsa Constituency Number 2 Bichari Yadav issued a statement and demanded unconditional release of the victim. Similarly, the victim’s family urged human rights defenders and journalists to initiate efforts for the safe release of the victim.
