INSEConline
INSEConline.org is the first human rights news portal in Nepal. It was launched on July 31, 2004 on the occasion of 12th death anniversary of human rights defender late Prakash Kaphley. INSEConline is run by the leading human rights organization of Nepal- Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC), which is well recognized at national and international level for its reliable database on human rights violation.
INSEConline has human rights reporters in all 75 districts of the country. They send the news related to human rights issues to the desk as soon as possible. INSEConline also gets information from the INSEC partner organizations present in nearly 50 districts. Five regional offices are also crucial for the smooth functioning of service. INSEConline uploads fact finding reports on human rights violation conducted by INSEC alone or in group, periodic reports and human rights magazines along with other relevant activities and information. INSEConline strives to contribute towards protection and promotion of human rights through timely dissemination of overall human rights situation of the country.
