Pre-review of Human Rights Year Book-2019 held
Pre-review of Human Rights Year Book-2019 has been organized in Nawalparasi on June 21. The program was organized by INSEC.
Speaking at the program parliamentarian Baija Nath Jaisawal of Bardaghat Susta west said that there has been increment in the incident of human rights violation due to the poverty, lack of education and unemployment.
Chief District Officer Devendra Prasad Lamichhane said that awareness raising program must be operated in rural are rather than in the headquarter. He praised INSEC for its contribution and effort on reducing incident of human rights vioolations.
INSEC district representative Narayan Parajuli presented the data on the incident of human rights violation in the district within the period of six months. He presented 43 incidents of province number 4 and 50 of province 5. This includes 13 incidents on child sexual violence in Bardaghat Susta(east) and 23 incidents from Bardaghat Susta (West).
