INSEC Provides Financial Assistance to Women Vicitms of Violence
Human Rights Assistance Committee Sudurpaschim and INSEC Dhangadhi have provided Rs 10,000 for legal aid to women victims of violence on November 29.
The assistance was provided from the Human Rights Assistance Fund set up with the help of DCA, informed Khadak Raj Joshi, INSEC, and Coordinator of INSEC Sudurpaschim Office.
Kanchan Khadayat of Bhimdatta Municipality-19, who is in the process of the legal battle against her husband in the District Court, Kanchanpur, had urged the Human Rights Defenders Network, Kanchanpur for financial process as her financial condition is weak.
After that, on the recommendation of the network, financial assistance was provided to the victim Khadayat, said Uddhav Raj Bhat, a member of the network.
