Half Yearly Review on Human Rights Promotion Held
Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC) has organized a half yearly review on Human Rights Promotion in Kavre of Dhulikhel on June 5. The review was based on a promotion of victim’s rights on human rights violation and atrocities.
Speaking at the program INSEC coordinator Krishna Gautam said that INSEC is not the competitor of the state so state must support on the promotion of human rights. He added that the working pattern is easy as local level election has already held and representatives are in local level.
He stressed that INSEC can play pivotal role on sustainable development target and millennium development target. Human RIghts advocacy Chief Samjha Shrestha of INSEC recommended district representatives and facilitators to document the change achieved through the program.
PME officer Suvekchya Khadka stressed on strengthening Human Rights campaign from the local level. She further recomended that all achievement from the program must be included in the report.
The program was participated by the INSEC district representatives from Dhanusha, Bara, Parsa, Dolakha, Dhading and Sindhupalchok. The district representatives and facilitators presented the half yearly activities and achievement during the program.
