Completion of Interaction Program on Right to Education

The Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) organized an interaction program on the right to education at Shree Secondary School, Shreepur of Garuda Municipality-9 on January 7.

Speaking on the occasion, Ram Adhar Paswan, Principal of the school, said that the number of students was high and there were very few teachers.

He stressed on the need to have more vacancy for teachers according to the flow of students for effective and quality learning.

Associate Principal Parashuram Raut said that there were 1,600 students in the school and the ratio of teachers was low.

He expressed his commitment to pay special attention to the use, and management of sanitary pads during the menstruation of school girls.

Even though the school implemented alternative education when the school was closed due to COVID-19, it was not effective, said Maujelal Raya Yadav, education coordinator of Garuda Municipality.

Raj Kumar Das, Chairperson of the School Management Committee of Shree Secondary Shreepur, expressed his commitment to solving the problems that have arisen in an easy and effective way.

Priti Kumari Das, a class 10 student, said, “We are satisfied with the education given by the teachers.”
