Women rescued from trafficking, accused arrested
Police have arrested 23 years old Nisha Bote of Gaidakot Municipality-17 and 30 years old Jeevan B.K of Bardaghat Municipality-6 on December 17 on charge of attempting to traffic 26 and 27 years old women to India.
SI Madhav Prasad Bhandari of District Police Office said that both victims were rescued and were handed over to their family.
The accused had lured both women for a better employment in Oman and Was attempting to take them to India with the objective of trafficking.
